For Landed Property Owners
Installing a home charger in a landed property is relatively straightforward. You'll need a licensed electrician to install a dedicated 32A circuit from your distribution board to the garage, and then mount a wall-mounted AC charger (typically 7kW or 22kW). Most dealers partner with charging equipment providers like Schneider Electric or Wallbox to offer installation at point of purchase — often at a discounted rate or included free with the vehicle.

For HDB Flat Owners
HDB dwellers face more constraints. Dedicated home charging in individual HDB car park lots is not currently permitted by HDB — residents must use the common EV chargers provided in their car park. HDB is progressively rolling out EV charging to car parks across Singapore, with a target of 60,000 charging points by 2030. Reserve a charging slot in advance using the app if your car park allows it
