CCS2 is Singapore's national standard for DC fast charging. Type 2 AC is the universal standard for slow and medium charging. Most new EVs support both via a single combo port.

Singapore has over 7,000 public EV charging points across Charge+, SP Mobility, Shell Recharge and other networks. Use the map to compare locations by network, connector and power — then confirm live pricing and availability in the operator's app before you set off.

AC charging (7–22 kW) costs S$0.45–0.89/kWh and suits carparks or overnight stays. DC fast charging (50–150 kW) costs S$0.75–0.82/kWh and adds 200+ km in roughly 30 minutes. Heartland malls are typically cheaper than Orchard or CBD locations.
Review operating hours, parking charges and membership requirements before driving out. Note that Shell Recharge charges idle fees once your session ends — move your vehicle promptly to avoid penalties.
Four major networks cover the island. Choosing the right one depends on where you park most often.
Singapore's largest network, with strong HDB estate and heartland mall coverage. Cheapest AC rates start at S$0.45/kWh at IKEA Tampines. Available via the Charge+ app.
Covers 800+ locations across HDB carparks, shopping malls and commercial buildings. SP launched Singapore's first HDB EV fast charging hub in Tengah in 2024. Use the SP app to find and pay.
Located at Shell stations and major malls including Suntec City (28 chargers). Offers DC fast charging at key locations. Idle fees of S$0.50/min apply after charging completes — move your car promptly.
37+ stalls across Singapore, including V4 Superchargers at One Holland Village (up to 250 kW). Now open to non-Tesla EVs via CCS2 connector. V3 stalls may require a CCS2 adapter.
Most Singaporeans park at HDB carparks or condos, making overnight home-based charging the most convenient and cost-effective option.
Over 90% of HDB carparks now have EV charging infrastructure installed by Charge+ or SP Mobility. SP's first HDB EV fast charging hub launched in Tengah, with more fast-charging hubs planned across Singapore's heartland. Access is via the respective operator's app.
Charge+ is targeting 4,000 chargers across 1,200+ condo developments by 2030. If you have a private parking lot, a dedicated wallbox (7–22 kW AC) installed for S$3,500–S$7,000 gives the most convenience — a full charge typically takes 6–10 hours overnight.
Key locations to bookmark for each part of the island.
IKEA Tampines offers Singapore's cheapest AC charging at S$0.45/kWh (Charge+). Tampines Mall and Century Square also have chargers. SP's new fast-charging HDB hubs are expanding in this estate.
Westgate, Jem and IMM form a dense charging cluster in the west. These heartland mall locations typically offer lower rates than CBD chargers, making Jurong a good top-up stop for western Singapore residents.
ION Orchard has DC fast charging (up to 100 kW). Prices in the Orchard belt are among the highest on the island. Best for a quick top-up while shopping rather than a full charge.
Suntec City is one of Singapore's largest public charging hubs with 28 Shell Recharge points. A good option for CBD workers or visitors to the convention centre — but remember Shell's idle fee policy.
SP Group launched Singapore's first HDB EV fast charging hub here in 2024 — a flagship site for high-speed charging in a public housing estate. Ideal for Tengah and Bukit Batok residents.
Tesla's V4 Supercharger at One Holland Village provides up to 250 kW and is open to non-Tesla EVs with a CCS2 connection. One of the fastest public chargers currently available in Singapore.
Government grants can significantly reduce the cost of owning and charging an EV in Singapore.
The Vehicle Emissions Scheme (VES) rebate rewards low-emission vehicles. Band A1 EVs receive the maximum rebate of S$25,000 off the Additional Registration Fee (ARF), which has a floor of S$0 for electric cars.
The EV Early Adoption Incentive (EEAI) provides an additional rebate of up to S$15,000 for qualifying new EV purchases. Combined with the VES, total savings can reach S$40,000. Check LTA for current eligibility conditions.
LTA co-funds EV charger installation in private premises (condos, commercial buildings) through the Common Charger Grant. This helps defray the cost of setting up shared charging infrastructure in private developments.
The cheapest AC charging is at IKEA Tampines (Charge+) at around S$0.45/kWh. AC rates across Singapore range from S$0.45 to S$0.89/kWh; DC fast charging runs S$0.75–0.82/kWh. Heartland malls are generally cheaper than Orchard or CBD locations.
Yes — over 90% of HDB carparks have chargers via Charge+ or SP Mobility. Condo coverage is expanding to 1,200+ developments by 2030. A home wallbox (S$3,500–S$7,000) gives the most convenience for those with private parking.

Yes. Tesla's Singapore Superchargers are open to non-Tesla EVs. V4 stalls (e.g. One Holland Village) support CCS2 natively. Older V3 stalls may need a CCS2 adapter. Tesla operates 12 locations with 37+ stalls across Singapore.
